With its fireplace, library, home cinema and generous living spaces, this is the natural place for everyone to gather as the evening goes on.
The Friends' House
For slower evenings.
With its cathedral ceiling, mezzanine and record player, this house has a character all its own: warm, relaxed and made for taking your time.

A little more privacy.
An independent house with its own covered terrace — ideal for guests who appreciate a little extra privacy.

Meadows, woodland, paths and quiet corners to disappear into for an hour or an afternoon.
Children can explore. Adults can walk, read or find a shady spot.
And you don't have to share the space with other holidaymakers.
And then there is the pigeonnier.

A house that was here before us.
Le Clos de Moncouche was once a small monastery and later a tobacco farm. My grandfather bought it in the 1940s, and it has been a family home for three generations.
The furniture has a history, every room has its own character, and today the estate is open to families and groups who come to write their own chapter here.
A history you cannot manufacture.

Are linens provided?

Yes: bed linen and bath towels are provided, and the beds are already made when you arrive. Do bring your own pool towels, though.
Is the end-of-stay cleaning included?

Yes, the cleaning fee covers the clean after you leave. We simply ask that you leave the house tidy: chairs, tables and games back where you found them, and the bins taken out.
Is the pool heated all year round?

The pool is heated and open from May to September, depending on the weather.
Are pets allowed?

Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome (an extra fee may apply — see your quote).
Is parking available on site?

Yes, free parking in the estate's courtyard.
How do I get there from the train station or airport?

Le Clos is 16 km from Périgueux (train station, airport), 37 km from Bergerac (airport) and 129 km from Bordeaux (international airport). The estate is only reachable by car.
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in from 5 pm, check-out by 10 am.
Can I book just one wing of Le Clos?

No — Le Clos is always rented as a whole: all three houses together, for up to 15 guests.
